Meet the Artists!
From Jaspal’s website.
Alice was born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Toronto, Canada. Since moving to New York five years ago, she has kept busy designing offices of startup companies such as Eligible API, SeatGeek and Timehop. Painting is still her biggest passion though, and you can find her in front of a canvas whenever she has free time.
Her paintings aim to act as buffers between our conditioned response and conscious response and at the same time provide empathetic spaces for private contemplation. She has participated in group exhibitions in Canada and Italy. Alice holds a BFA in Painting and Drawing from OCAD University in Toronto and a MSc in Interior Design from the Pratt Institute in New York.
